LAKELAND, FL - As work progresses towards the much anticipated opening of the Barnett Athletic Complex, Florida Southern College men's and women's soccer will play their home contests at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in nearby Auburndale.
Lake Myrtle Sports Park is one of the finest athletic complexes in Central Florida and consists of 11 different soccer fields and five baseball fields. The main soccer stadium at Lake Myrtle Sports Park features a 419 Bermuda grass surface and is fully irrigated and lighted. The stadium field is also equipped with an electronic scoreboard and has seating for 1000 spectators.
The complex also features two full concession stands, restrooms for spectators, and an official's locker room on site. Florida Southern will provide live stats and live video (weather permitting) from Lake Myrtle Sports Park.
Admission and parking to all games played at the complex are free this year, and fans can find the field at the following address:

Lake Myrtle Sports Park is home to the Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing Headquarters, the governing body for Visit Central Florida and Central Florida Sports Marketing. Lake Myrtle also hosts the Florida Sports Hall of Fame and is the home of the Florida Youth Soccer Association Headquarters.
Lake Myrtle Sports Park is owned by the City of Auburndale and managed by the Auburndale Parks and Recreation Department. Events held at Lake Myrtle are coordinated and scheduled with the City of Auburndale and Central Florida Sports Marketing.
