It’s Goedde’s first Player-of-the-Week award in her career and the first for any Moccasin women’s soccer player in the last three years.

New Year Begins for Florida Southern Men’s Soccer Team Saturday Night Under New Head Coach September 1, 2017 The Moccasin men’s soccer kicks off a 16-game regular season schedule this Saturday at home against Shorter University at 7 p.m. The game, which is being played at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale, will also be the first for Jason Carlson, who was hired in May as the sixth head coach in the 61-year history of the Florida Southern men’s soccer program. Carlson has joined the Moccasins after guiding Upper Iowa to a 39-27-5 record from 2013-16, and the school’s first NCAA Tournament berth in 2015.

Florida Southern Women’s Soccer Team Starts New Season Under New Coach Friday Morning August 31, 2017 The Florida Southern women’s soccer team begins the 2017 campaign Friday morning in North Carolina where the Moccasins will play the first of their 17 games this season. (Please note Friday's game has been moved to 11 a.m.) It will also mark the Florida Southern debut of new head coach Paul Lawrence, who came on board in January as the fifth head coach in team history. He previously went 35-20-3 in three years at Knox College and led the Prairie Fire to the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2016.

FSC Places NCAA-II Second-Best 150 Mocs on D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards List August 25, 2017 CLEVELAND, OH -- Florida Southern had an NCAA Division II second-best total of 150 of its student-athletes from the 2016-17 school year earn NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Awards as sponsored by the Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA). The Academic Achievement Awards program recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.
