75 Student-Athletes Named to Fall SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll February 10, 2017 MELBOURNE, FL - Florida Southern College had 75 student-athletes named to the Fall SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll, the Sunshine State Conference announced on Friday. The Moccasins ranked second among all SSC schools in the total number of student-athletes honored, and had the most with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (27).

Florida Southern Soccer Teams Again Rank Among the Top Academic Programs in the Country October 6, 2016 The Florida Southern soccer teams made it five years in a row where both squads were honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of American with the annual Team Academic Award. The men's team has now earned that award 10 consecutive years, while the women have been on the list for the last five. The men were tied for #3 among all Division II schools with their 3.45 team GPA, and the women were 13th with a team GPA of 3.56.

It was the first time in team history the Moccasins ever came back from two goals down in the second half to win a Sunshine State Conference game.
