INDIANAPOLIS - Evan Quinones made history today as the junior became the first-ever runner from Florida Southern to qualify for the NCAA Division II Men's Track Championships. The Saratoga Springs, N.Y. native will compete in the 800-meter run on May 26 at the national meet which take place at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The event is scheduled for 6:20 p.m.
TALLAHASSEE – Evan Quinones wrapped up the regular men's track season by competing at the Seminole Twilight Meet here at the Mile Long Track on the Florida State University campus.
HILLSDALE, MI - The Florida Southern men's track team continued its season at the GINA Relays here at the Ken Herrick Track on the campus of Hillsdale College.
TAMPA - Evan Quinones won the 800-meter run with a 1:51.02 time here at the USF Collegiate Invitational on the campus of the University of South Florida. The time breaks Quinones own school-record time of 1:51.17 set earlier this year on March 17 and gives the junior the six fastest times in program history in this event.

LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College recognized its student-athletes, coaches, and athletic department staff at its annual Athletic Academic Awards Banquet on Tuesday night. More than 500 student-athletes, coaches, staff, and invited guests attended the event at Jenkins Field House.
LEWISBURG, PA - Evan Quinones ran a 3:53.80 in the 1,500-meter race at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic here Friday at the Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. The time is the sixth fastest time in program history. Bobby Ormsby was entered in the 10,000-meter but fell at the start and did not finish due to an injury.
JACKSONVILLE - Drake Baker set a Florida Southern freshman record with a time of 2:00.40 in the 800-meter at the University of Florida Invitational here Saturday at the UNF Track. Baker eclipses the previous freshman record time of 2:00.59 set by John Bryant at the USF Bulls Invitational on March 20, 2015.
DAYTONA BEACH - The Florida Southern men's track team competed Friday in three events at the Spikes Classic here on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
