  • Moccasins Set to Host Water Ski Showcase

    LAKELAND, FL - The Florida Southern College water ski team will treat the local community to a Water Ski Showcase on Saturday, April 7 from 9-11:30 a.m. on Lake Hollingsworth. The event will feature some of the top Moccasin water skiers on both the men's and women's side competing in the slalom, jump, and trick events.

    INDIANAPOLIS - Florida Southern College's intercollegiate athletic programs are one of 32 Division II programs across the country to earn the NCAA Division II Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence, the NCAA announced on Thursday.
  • Water Ski Places Fourth at NCWSA Nationals

    ZACHARY, LA - Florida Southern College waterski snagged its fourth-straight top four finish at the annual NCWSA National Championships this past weekend at Tri-Lakes. The Moccasins tallied 11,240 points to finish well ahead of fifth-place Rollins (9,150). UL Monroe, UL Lafayette and Alabama finished in the top three spots in order. ULM finished with 12,165 points with first place finishes in the slalom and jump, while Alabama brought home the team trick title.
  • Moccasins Place Third Overall at NCWSA East Regionals

    GROVELAND, FL - Florida Southern College water ski placed third overall at the annual NCWSA East Regional over the weekend. The Moccasin men and women each finished third in their respective divisions, compiling a total of 5,325 points to finish behind East Region champion Alabama and runner-up Rollins. Individually, three Mocs finished first in their portions of the competition as Cole McCormick took first in the men's slalom while Samantha Dumala was the women's slalom champion and Valentina Gonzale won the women's jump.

    LAKELAND, FL (9/14/17) - We are pleased to share with you that as of this morning we now have power in almost all buildings across campus. What wonderful news! We are still waiting for power to come on in Colony Arms Apartments, Roberts Academy, and a few FSC houses surrounding the campus. We will continue to communicate updates as they become available and will accommodate any student who lives in one of these locations if power is still not restored when they return to campus.
