GRAND LAKE, CO - A trio of Florida Southern College women's lacrosse standouts are set to play in the 2018 IWLCA Division II All-Star Game, which will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 at Tierney Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, MD. Meghan O'Brien, Emily Santoli, and Meghan Vadala are the Moccasins who will participate in the annual game. This year marks the sixth-straight season in which Florida Southern has had at least one player named to the South roster for the IWLCA All-Star Game, while the three selections mark the second year in a row that three different players have gone on to participate in the game.
Florida Southern's three selections match Lindenwood and NYIT for the most from any one school in this year's game. The trio of O'Brien, Santoli, and Vadala led the Mocs to a school-record 22 wins this season and a third-straight appearance in the NCAA Division II National Championship game. O'Brien and Santoli earned all-Sunshine State Conference honors this year in addition to IWLCA all-South Region honors, while Vadala was an all-conference, all-region and second team all-America selection a year ago.
