  • Women's Soccer Team Returns to Action but Drops 1-0 Decision at Rollins

    WINTER PARK – Rollins used a corner kick in the closing minutes to score the only goal of the night as the Tars picked up a 1-0 win over Florida Southern as the Moccasins returned to action following a lengthy lay-off due to Hurricane Irma.
  • Wednesday Night's Women's Soccer Game Moved to Rollins; Men's Game to Follow

    With the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex not yet ready to host a match following Hurricane Irma the Florida Southern women’s soccer game against Rollins College scheduled for Wednesday night in Auburndale has been moved to Rollins College in Winter Park. That game will now be played as part of a doubleheader with the Florida Southern men’s soccer match that was already scheduled for Wednesday night at Rollins.
  • UPDATED INFORMATION ON CAMPUS REOPENING (9/14)

    LAKELAND, FL (9/14/17) - We are pleased to share with you that as of this morning we now have power in almost all buildings across campus. What wonderful news! We are still waiting for power to come on in Colony Arms Apartments, Roberts Academy, and a few FSC houses surrounding the campus. We will continue to communicate updates as they become available and will accommodate any student who lives in one of these locations if power is still not restored when they return to campus.
  • Goedde is SSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week

    MELBOURNE, FL - Florida Southern defender Jess Goedde is among the first Sunshine State Conference award winners of the 2017 season as the senior from Cincinnati, Ohio was selected as the SSC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week on September 4. It’s Goedde’s first Player-of-the-Week award in her career and the first for any Moccasin women’s soccer player in the last three years.
  • Florida Southern Dominates the Day in 3-0 Win at Mount Olive

    MOUNT OLIVE, NC – Florida Southern’s first win of the season came in dominating fashion Sunday afternoon as the Moccasins used goals by Dominique Cirnigliaro, Leah Borders and Jess Goedde and a suffocating defense to defeat Mount Olive 3-0. The shutout was the second in as many games for Florida Southern on its 2-game road trip to North Carolina.
  • Season-Opening Draw for Women's Soccer as FSC and Chowan Play to Scoreless Tie

    MOUNT OLIVE, NC – Florida Southern’s first game under new head coach Paul Lawrence saw the Moccasins hold a commanding edge in shots taken, and if possible in a sport where it isn’t customarily tracked, time of possession. The Mocs also got a stellar performance from their defense and six saves from senior goalkeeper Helena Norrstrom as they battled Chowan (NC) to a 0-0 tie in the 2017 season opener.
  • Florida Southern Women’s Soccer Team Starts New Season Under New Coach Friday Morning

    The Florida Southern women’s soccer team begins the 2017 campaign Friday morning in North Carolina where the Moccasins will play the first of their 17 games this season. (Please note Friday's game has been moved to 11 a.m.) It will also mark the Florida Southern debut of new head coach Paul Lawrence, who came on board in January as the fifth head coach in team history. He previously went 35-20-3 in three years at Knox College and led the Prairie Fire to the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2016.

    MELBOURNE, FL - Sunshine State Conference women's soccer coaches have chosen Barry University as the preseason favorite in 2017. The Buccaneers received 89 total votes and two first place votes in the poll.
