The five-member class included Pete Meyer (baseball), Jordan McAfee (volleyball), Matt Stauch (men's golf), Mary O'Sullivan (women's swimming), and David Jenkins (honorary).

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College volleyball head coach Chris Keen has announced the addition of assistant coach Ashlee Crowder to his staff. Keen, who was named as the new head coach of the Moccasins following Jill Stephens' retirement in January, made the hire last month and Crowder has already begun working with the team.

    MELBOURNE, Fla. - A total of 651 student-athletes, inlcuding 76 from Florida Southern College, have been named to the 2017 Fall Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll; it was announced Wednesday, March 7th by Commissioner Ed Pasque. A total of 142 student-athletes carried a perfect 4.00 grade-point average for the fall semester.

    PENSACOLA, FL - The magical run for Florida Southern College volleyball ended on Saturday night as it fell to defending national champion Concordia-St. Paul, 3-0, in the NCAA Division II National Championship match at UWF Field House. The No. 21 Moccasins (30-7) hung tough with the No. 3 Golden Bears (34-3) all night, but were unable to slow down a blistering offensive attack by the Golden Bears, who won their second-straight national title and their ninth in the last 11 years.

The No. 21 Moccasins (30-6) used a dominant second set to regain momentum and won the third set before the Golden Knights (32-7) forced a decisive fifth set, which saw the Mocs rally from a three-point deficit to earn their 23rd win in a row.

The No. 21 Moccasins (28-6) enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed, while the Coyotes (24-7) earned the No. 6 seed. Florida Southern defeated No. 17 West Florida in the South Regional title match, while CSU San Bernardino is coming off a win over No. 5 Western Washington in the West Region championship match.

Florida Southern and Cal State San Bernardino have met just once on the volleyball court in the history of both programs.

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College volleyball won its fifth NCAA Division II South Region title with a 3-1 victory over No. 17 West Florida on Saturday at Jenkins Field House. The No. 21 Moccasins (28-6) came from behind after the Argonauts (30-7) won the first sent, and punched their ticket to the NCAA National Quarterfinals for the first time since 1991. Four players finished with at least 10 kills for the Mocs, who will head to Pensacola next week for the NCAA Championships.

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College volleyball won its 20th-straight match, 3-0, over Saint Leo on Friday night in the NCAA South Region semifinals to advance to their third consecutive regional championship match. The No. 21 Moccasins (27-6) eliminated the No. 23 Lions (23-7) from the South Regional for the second-straight year by scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-20.

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College volleyball advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Division II South Regional with a 3-0 win over Kentucky State on Thursday night at Jenkins Field House. The No. 21 Moccasins (26-6), who entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed, topped the eighth-seeded Thoroughbrettes (26-13) by scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-19 to win their 19th-straight match and move on to the semifinal round for the seventh-straight year.

The No. 22 Moccasins (24-6, 18-1 SSC) picked up their 17th win in a row and finished off the season sweep of the Sharks (6-20, 4-15) to win their first conference title since 2006, and the programs first outright SSC championship since 1990.

The No. 22 Moccasins (23-6, 17-1 SSC) dominated the first two sets and outlasted the Lions (20-6, 14-4) in a wild third set to clinch at least a share of the SSC regular-season title.
