As selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the 2019 Academic All-America® Men's Soccer Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

    AUSTIN, TEXAS - Florida Southern College women's soccer senior defender Caitlin Quaempts was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® first team announced on Wednesday. This marks the second-straight year Quaempts has earned the honors, she was named to the third team following her junior season. As a senior, Quaempts started in 12 of her 13 games played and recorded a goal and an assist as a prominent member of a Moccasin defense that posted six shutouts in 2019.

Dailland was one of five nominees for the award, which was selected via fan vote on the NCWSA's website.

JOSEPH, Mo. – Bekki Kalaydjiev scored a team-high 13 points, but it was not enough as the Florida Southern College women’s basketball team (4-3) fell to Northwest Missouri State (4-2) in the opening game of the Fairfield Inn Classic, played on Tom Smith Court in Looney Arena at the Missouri Western State University Fieldhouse. Host MWSU will face McKendree University in Game Two of the two-day classic later tonight. Florida Southern will face MWSU tomorrow, at 4:30 p.m., in the Classic’s final game.

The Moccasins (7-30, 3-17 SSC) kept the match close in the first three sets but could not stage the comeback as the Buccaneers (20-11, 13-7 SSC) hit .457 in the fourth set to take the series sweep.
