AS A SENIOR (2019)
Has started all 13 matches that he played in on the year... played a season-high 110 minutes three times, in 1-1 tie against No 6. Palm Beach Atlantic, in the 2-2 tie with Rollins, and 1-1 tie with Tampa... part of a back line that held the Sailfish to that 1-1 tie in the SSC opener... the heart and soul of the Mocs defense... was the subject of a Moccasin Spotlight, Trust the Process.
AS A JUNIOR (2018)
HONORS: USL All-South Second Team… All-SSC Second Team…started and played in 13 games… scored his first career goal in the 1-0 victory at Tampa… in the games where Appiah was a part of the backline, Southern went 10-3 including seven shutouts… played 1,099 minutes, an average of 84.5 minutes per game... spent the summer of 2019 playing for Flint City Bucks of USL2, winning the USL2 National Championship.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
Started all but one game on the Florida Southern defensive line (missed Oct. 25 game at Barry by rule after a red card in the previous game), spending most of September at left back before moving to center back beginning with a 3-1 victory over Tampa in the sixth game of the season (Sept. 30)... helped the Moccasins post a 1.14 goals-against average, the fourth-lowest in team history and almost half a goal lower from 2016… also helped the Mocs allow either one goal or no goals in 12 of their 14 games… assisted the game-winning goal by fellow defender Daniel Moore in the 60th minute of a 2-1 victory at Eckerd (Oct. 18)… took five of his eight shots in the 1-0, overtime loss at Lynn in the SSC Tournament quarterfinals (Oct. 31)… averaged 78 minutes per match.
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MOBILE (2016)
Started at center back for the Rams and played in 14 of their 18 games… helped the Rams to an 11-7 record and four wins over nationally-ranked NAIA teams as well as a 2-1 double-overtime win over Division II West Florida... spent the summer of 2017 playing for the Charlotte Eagles of USL2, and won the USL2 National Championship.

Graduated from Prempeh College in Kumasi, Ghana in 2013 and competed in track and field as well as soccer… selected as the best defender from schools and colleges in the region’s sports federation… captained Prempeh College to the semifinals in the sports federation in Ashanti region in 2012.
