MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Southern College has placed 67 student-athletes on the 2019 Fall Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll, it was announced by Commissioner Ed Pasque. A total of 31 FSC student-athletes posted a perfect 4.0 GPA.
LAKELAND, Fla. - The Florida Southern College Department of Athletics is saddened to report the passing of former Sports Information Director Bill Turnage. He passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at his home in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was 72 years old.

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The United Soccer Coaches honored Florida Southern College senior midfielder Edu Capote, by naming him to their NCAA Division II Men's All-Region Third Team. The award was voted on by the head soccer coaches in the South Region.

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. – On a windy night at Rinker Athletic Complex, the sixth-seeded Florida Southern College men’s soccer team (5-6-5) fell to third-seeded Palm Beach Atlantic (13-2-2) in the Quarterfinals of the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Championships, by a 3-0 score. The Sailfish, who entered the game No. 7 in the national USC coaches poll, advances to the SSC Semifinals to play at the second-seeded Florida Tech Panthers on Thursday, November 14.
LAKELAND, FLA. – The Florida Southern College men’s soccer team has qualified for the Sunshine State Conference tournament as the sixth seed, and will travel to West Palm Beach on Monday, November 11, to face third seeded Palm Beach Atlantic at 7:00 p.m. in a Quarterfinal Round match. This is the third time in as many seasons that the Moccasins have qualified for the postseason, and seventh overall appearance. This is only the second year that PBA has been eligible for the SSC postseason, and the first time these two schools will have met.
